Shifting Energy

Everyone and everything in the All of Creation is made up of energy. You and I are energy. Our thoughts are energy. Our emotions are energy. Our actions are energy. Animals are energy. Plants, crops, and flowers are energy. Trees are energy. The Sun and the Moon and the Stars are energy. The Wind, Lightening, and storms are energy. Our homes are energy, as is our workplaces and schools. Hospitals, nursing homes, hotels and motels, stores, and offices are all energy. Forests, cars, and Bees are energy. The material things we have are energy and since everything is energy, we can work with energy by shifting, transforming, changing, and transmuting it.

We all have the power to change the energy whenever we choose to. It can be as simple as paying attention to the words we say before we speak and the thoughts that we are thinking. For example, a few kind words and a smile can go a long way and can mean more to someone than you may ever know.

Another way to shift the energy is to be outside in Nature, as Nature is a very sacred healing space.

Have you ever had a long, stressful, tiring day that felt like it might not ever end? Do you recall how that energy felt in your body?

Imagine you have just returned home from an exhausting day like that and simply allow your mind to take you to another place for a few minutes and pay attention to how you feel as you visit this place…

Envision yourself outside, in the midst of snow-capped Mountains, nestled in white billowy Clouds that decorate the blue Sky.

The Sun is bright and feels warm upon your face as you stand next to a wild and mighty River, flowing through a majestic Mountain Canyon that has been vibrantly painted in multitudes of shades of orange, red, brown, tan, yellow, and white.

At the point where you’re currently standing, the flowing River is a breathtaking turquoise blue. The water is so clear that you can see all the way down to the bottom of the deep riverbed below.
Notice the white caps on the water downstream and the movement of the waves as they dance and splash upon the rocks, boulders, and the low hanging tree branches that bend over the Riverbank.
Listen to the sounds of the water as it rushes downstream, bending, winding, and churning as it makes its way through the rich, thick green, lavish Pine Forest.

Smell the heavy scent of the Pine Trees, mixed with the aroma of flowers and green grass from a beautiful meadow nearby, as the Wind carries the scent of the perfumed air throughout the entire Forest.

How does it feel to breathe in the healing energy of Nature? How does it feel to breathe Nature deeply into your lungs? Close your eyes and remain with that feeling for as long as you choose to…

How does it feel in your body to be where you are at this moment? What thoughts come to you as you stand amidst the majesty and beauty of this sacred place?

Cup your hands together and place them in the cold water. How does the water feel upon your hands? Does it feel refreshing? Vitalizing? Invigorating?

Now, drink the healing water from your cupped your hands. How does it taste? How does it feel to drink pure, clean, fresh, ice cold, healing water? Do you feel nourished? How does your body feel right at this moment? Can you feel a shift in your energy? Do you feel any different now than when you first began reading this?

While standing by that River, did you happen to notice the Hawk who is watching you from a high Tree Branch? Or the Bunnies and Squirrels who have gathered around you? How about the Eagle who is
soaring directly overhead? Or the herd of Elk who are just across the meadow? Did you notice the butterflies and Bees and all of the life in this Forest? Did you hear the Crow cawing?

Do you know the messages that each of these beings have for you? Do you understand their medicine and the gifts they bring you? Are you aware of your connection to them? Did you know that each and every human has Animal Guides; Totems; Medicine Animals; Spirit Animals to help them on this Earth Walk and that you have specific animals who have chosen you to share their wisdom and their teachings with?

If the answer is no, then what is the reason you’re not aware of this? Do you think that perhaps it might be a good time to find out? Susan’s Totem Animal Readings will assist you in connecting to your personal Totem Animals.
